Day 1

We packed up and pulled out of campus early yesterday. All the girls were excited to be done with exams and expectant of the sun to be shining. As we got closer to Folly everyone started to sing and wake up from the long bus ride. 

As soon as we arrived everyone quickly got changed and headed to the ocean which is in our backyard! Chaperon Alex also known as Chap Al and I looked and everyone was in the water swimming and body surfing together. I've never been apart of a team where everyone genuinely likes to be around each other 

We had some beach time. Chap al flew a kite and we trained on the beach. The soccer was awesome. We warmed up, did some dribbling and passing fitness, then divided up into three teams and played small sided to goals. Everyone was active and competitive. Leah, Marisa, Larissa, and Bianca won in the end coming from behind. 

We cooked dinner and the girls watched a movie. It was such a great day with great people. 

Things to we want to do or focus on this week: spending more time getting to know each other and asking questions about each others lives, have fun with soccer but train hard, be a good representative and work hard with habitat for humanity giving back.
