Spring soccer

Yesterday, the Warren Wilson women's soccer team was supposed to have it's first spring game of 2014. The inclement weather was problematic and our game was canceled. Nonetheless, we made the best of it and decided to play a little futsal in our gym. 

Warmups become tedious and mundane so we decided to switch it up. A little basketball was the answer. What I didn't expect was how awful we looked as a basketball team. No shape but one big blob is what we looked like up and down the court. After that was short-lived we got right into it, playing futsal. It was competitive and fun. Even head coach, Stacey Enos got some touches in, the first time back since her acl surgery and was in great form. 

Hopefully our spring game will be rescheduled but either way this team is fun and a family. It's shown on the smiles after a hard sweat or a great play. I love the quote by Henry Ford that, "Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success." This is our team.
