Second game

In the second game against the USVI national team, we faced a different formation. They changed their formation to play with two forwards. We didn't have Emily Wilmers this game because of an ankle injury that happened in the first game. We hope to have her back for our game tomorrow. Usvi pressed us from the start and it proved out to be the right decision when they scored first around the 20th min mark. Then in the 35th minute wwc answered when a long rang free kick from half field was bobbled by the goalkeeper resulting in a goal from Carolyn Warhaftig. Half time score 1-1.

In the second half usvi was awarded a penalty in the 65th minute where they took the lead 2-1. Then in the 80th min wwc rallied back when Marisa Romeo scored on a break away.

The game tomorrow will feature more of the younger players for the usvi.
